What’s The “BLesson”?

Updated: Apr 18, 2023

It’s July 2020 and life and work as we knew it is on hold for indefinite time. The Corona Virus is dominating every breath we take, and for all of us life has dramatically changed! There doesn’t seem to be an end in sight until there is a vaccine available to millions and millions of people. Much is still unknown at this time, but one thing is certain; unless we get our act together, gain control over the spread of the virus and the related deaths, life is not going to go back to “normal”!

So what does this mean? Do we continue to wait and hope until we can go back to “normal”? Or is it time to “let go” some and begin to embrace a new reality? Not knowing your situation I can’t give any advice on that question, but as it pertains to myself I have decided that it is time to let go of what may not come back anytime soon and begin to create something new... something that will continue to grow from here on out no matter how long Covid controls us!

So, what’s that “BLesson”? For me, the Blessing in the Covid-Lesson is, that it gave me time to identify how I want the future of my business to look like. Rather than “working in the business” I spent time “working on the business”, i.e. defining and creating new and affordable services that are much needed during difficult times, and that will serve our clients for years to come!

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Find the reason and learn from it and you’re on the right path. As for this humanitarian crisis I believe that the BLesson for the world is that we can’t go on like we have, i.e. ignoring the signs of climate change and the consequences it has for all of us. A lot needs to change, people need to wake up to our reality, and there is no better time than now!

So, what’s your BLesson? And how can you act on it? If in doubt, let’s chat, leave me a note or share your thoughts. I’d love to hear your story!

For now, stay healthy and safe!

Regina
